200th Episode Reaction!
Friends, romans, Fl*sters! I'm here to praise the glory that was our show's 200th episode.  Yes I know I'm late, and there have been much better reactions to the episode than mine.  If you don't believe me take a look at this post by milly_gal. But I can't help but join in with all the squeeing and love I've seen showered on this episode, I laughed,  there were so many wonderful moments, and sadly so little bloody luch hour!.  I cried, I dare anyone not to snivel during Carry On My Wayward son!  Did you see Sam and Dean's faces, just oh dear god I was a wreck.

Then I must thank Robbie Thompson for that scene, you know the one with the Impala. Oh do I need to thank him for moment of pure shallowness, I can never express my gratitude.

Now onto the serious part, when i heard about this episode I admit I was worried. Terrified even when they mentioned Becky, but I know  I was wrong to be worried. This was a love letter to all the fans out there, filled affection and yes they did poke fun at us.  But it was done with love and they even gave us their blessing to carry on with our stories. with Dean's line about "I've got my version and you've got your's"  Please forgive the paraphrasing, I've only seen it twice so far *G*

Not only that, this almost felt like a reboot!  The whole it's us against the world felt like a clean slate, and are we finally starting to see Carver's we want the boys to go back to being heroes finally coming to fruition? What sealed it for me was seeing Chuck!  Was he just there to see a play or to see the brothers renew their bond? With Sam accepting that they need to be out their hunting side by side, and Dean's "I don't need a symbol to remind me of how I feel about my brother."

Whatever happens next I know I will be there watching and cheering on the boys, and just maybe they have found a little bit of peace by being reminded there is nothing they can't accomplish as long as they're together!

In my head, Chuck was in the audience at the end of the play. Then when it actually happened I think I squealed. Yep. Squealed.

So happy the Samulet and Adam haven't been forgotten! I'm hoping the Adam mention was to jog our memories before they finally address his rescue! But when you look how crazy a few months in the cage made Sam, poor Adam's been there four years now!

I liked the 'first act' (i.e. Kripke) versus the crazy 'second act' (Gamble / Carver), which, in a way, is I guess fan fiction on Kripke's original five year plan.

I think it's safe to say this was probably the best episode since season 5!
