Oh I'm waiting, madly hitting refresh on the master post page, waiting for that "chapter 15" link to go live. *grin* Finished re-reading it again earlier today - my mind blissfully blocks out the "gut shot" passage until I'm reading it again and cringing with my arms wrapped 'round myself. *shiver* Chris is such a total badass in that scene.

Sasha, I just read a news article that hit me in the gut because it is so close to the genesis of your story.

"Sarah Anderson is one of five members of the Word of Faith church in North Carolina who has been charged with assault on Matthew Fenner in 2013.
