I Have A Question!
Dear Flist, and yes I can't believe it but I have a Flist!! I'm looking for suggestions for a method actor some one who is dedicated to their craft to the point of obsession, a little plot bunny is nibbling at my ankles, and this could lead to a touch of h/c schmoop and generally abusing poor Jensen again.  What? look it keeps me off the street and from scaring normal folk.

All help gratefully received, cherished and generally brooded over.

Only one I can think of is Johnny Depp, but he doesn't exactly fit in with the CW crowd, does he?

Ah thank you, and that is kind of the point, I'm looking for an actor who is definetely not part of the CW crowd. So that could be an interesting suggestion. Thank you very much for that.

Hmmm, method actor, point of obsession, that makes me think of Christian Bale, what with him losing shedloads of weight for The Machinist. Also John Malkovich (sp?) and Kevin Spacey, I find them both charismatic and strangely attractive.

Daniel Day Lewis purportedly takes method acting to an extreme level. So does Dustin Hoffman. I haven't heard this said about any of the younger actors (except Jensen).

Thank you, I'm getting some great suggestions. I hope that this will lead to the plot bunny being fed.

David Tennant.

Or shoot, just stick with Misha - or go old school and throw in some Weatherly!

Johnny Depp's the one Jensen always quotes as his inspiration. Old school? Dustin Hoffman's probably the best known.

Sorry for coming late. My bad. *facepalm*

Anyway, the actor who comes to my mind is Christian Bale. I think he's trying to be perfect for his character, give me an impression of obsession for role.

Jeremy Irons and Ralfe Finnes(sp?) are also this sort of actors I think.
